Digital Market Expansion: Building on their successful partnership in Europe, Middle East, and Africa to extend digital audio services monetization into Asian markets.
-
AI Task Force Creation: Establishing a joint team to address AI challenges and opportunities, focusing on creator education, fair compensation, and infrastructure improvements.
-
Global Collaboration: Organizing song camps, networking events, and educational programs to foster international creative partnerships.
Both organizations achieved record-breaking financial results in 2023 and have previously collaborated on successful projects, including ISWC/ISRC linking technology (2017) and digital licensing partnerships (2022).
Elizabeth Matthews, ASCAP CEO, and Cécile Rap-Veber, Sacem CEO, launched the partnership at a reception in Los Angeles, emphasizing their shared commitment to protecting creators' rights in the digital age while maintaining cost-efficient operations.
This non-profit alliance builds on the historical relationship between France and the United States, combining their expertise to better serve the global music community.
