Burke shared the news via Instagram Reel, describing the decision as "bittersweet" while emphasizing that the podcast was never intended to disparage the show. The podcast explored behind-the-scenes aspects of the NBC series, including professional dancer-celebrity interactions, showmances, and notable incidents like Artem Chigvintsev's domestic violence arrest.
"This chapter has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, filled with growth, meaningful conversations, and powerful connections," Burke stated. She expressed gratitude to her listeners, whose support helped her navigate through controversial moments.
Burke's connection to "Dancing with the Stars" spans 16 years, beginning with Season 2 in 2006 and concluding with Season 31 in November 2022. She also notably replaced Abby Lee Miller on "Dance Moms" in 2017.
"My heart has always been in the right place," Burke affirmed, addressing any misconceptions about the podcast's intent. "This podcast was always about truth, connection, and storytelling — not taking anything down."
