Concord has officially acquired Daddy Yankee's catalog rights for $217.3 million, marking a significant investment in Latin music. The deal includes publishing, masters, and certain name, image, and likeness rights from 2002 through 2019.

The acquisition encompasses five studio albums, starting with 2002's El Cangri.com, along with numerous successful non-album singles. The catalog will be managed from Concord's Miami office.
Concord CEO Bob Valentine emphasized Daddy Yankee's influential role in both reggaeton and pop music, highlighting the artist's lasting cultural impact. The company plans to continue acquiring significant Latin music content, capitalizing on the genre's growing revenue in key markets including Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.
