The deal includes Enhanced Music's publishing rights and compositional interests in thousands of tracks, featuring works by The Chainsmokers, Wiz Khalifa, and Tiësto. While specific financial terms remain undisclosed, Will Holland will continue leading Enhanced Music, with Create Music Group's CEO Jonathan Strauss and SVP Eric Nguyen joining the label's board.
Create Music Group, valued at $1 billion and employing over 400 people globally, sees this acquisition as strategic due to genre synergies and one-stop rights opportunities. The deal follows several other significant dance music investments in 2024, including:
- BMG's acquisition of multiple Eurodance catalogs
- Believe's 25% purchase of Romania's Global Records
- Armada Music's BEAT fund acquisition of Cloud 9 Music publishing
- Enhanced's genre-specific imprints include Enhanced Chill and Enhanced Progressive
Adam Shomer, Create Music VP of business development, emphasized Enhanced's consistent growth and position as a premier platform for dance artists, making it an ideal partner for Create Music Group's expanding portfolio.
