Stefan Engblom of electronic duo Dada Life has been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a rare and chronic liver disease that has placed him on a liver transplant waiting list. Despite facing significant health challenges, including seven ERCP procedures and complications like pancreatitis and sepsis, Engblom maintains an optimistic outlook.

Currently restricted to staying near Stockholm for potential transplant availability, Engblom's recovery journey could span from days to two years. Once transplanted, he'll need a minimum two-year break from touring and will require lifelong immunosuppressant medication.

While Engblom focuses on his health, Dada Life's legacy continues through their influential electro house music, known for energetic performances and banana-themed stage shows. Their hits include "Kick Out the Epic Motherf**ker," "Feed the Dada," and "Born to Rage."

The duo's impact extends beyond performance, with their popular audio production tools like the "Sausage Fattener" plugin and "Endless Smile" becoming industry standards for electronic music producers.

In Engblom's own words: "This is not the end; it's the beginning of an upgraded version of myself." His transparency about this health journey has inspired fans worldwide, demonstrating remarkable resilience in the face of adversity.
