The Roots Picnic festival is returning to Philadelphia in 2025 with a star-studded lineup featuring D'Angelo, The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, Meek Mill, and Jeezy as headliners.

The two-day festival at The Mann in Fairmount Park will feature D'Angelo performing alongside The Roots, while Lenny Kravitz will showcase hits from his career and new album "Blue Electric Light." Philadelphia native Meek Mill will make his debut appearance at the festival.

The 2024 edition was a sold-out success, featuring performances by André 3000, Gunna, Jill Scott, and Lil Wayne. The festival received recognition from Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker, with The Roots receiving a special proclamation for their contributions to the city's arts and culture.

More performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
