Viewers can access the channel through:
- Tubi (United States viewers)
- Samsung TV+ (International viewers)
The initiative includes new music-focused advertising-supported video on demand (AVoD) content from UMG's Mercury Studios, allowing viewers to watch Def Jam artists' content on-demand.
"Over the last 40 years, Def Jam has consistently led the charge in pioneering new ways for our artists to celebrate their creativity and connect with fans," says Def Jam Chairman and CEO Tunji Balogun, highlighting the label's commitment to innovation in the music landscape.
The launch is part of Def Jam's broader 40th-anniversary celebrations, which have included special shows on Apple TV and pop-up events in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. This marks the first time a Universal Music Group label has programmed its own television channel directly for fans, setting a new precedent in music industry content distribution.
