Delta Brings YouTube Premium and Music to New 4K Inflight Entertainment Screens

Delta Airlines is enhancing its inflight entertainment with YouTube Premium and YouTube Music integration, alongside new 4K HDR QLED screens starting in 2026.

Delta SkyMiles members will enjoy ad-free access to YouTube Premium and YouTube Music during flights, with this feature rolling out this year. The new entertainment system includes Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones across all cabins and a "Do Not Disturb" button for uninterrupted rest.

The airline is also focusing on improving overall WiFi connectivity and introducing a content recommendation engine. At CES 2025, Delta unveiled plans for an AI-powered "Delta Concierge" feature in their app, along with new partnerships including Uber integration for earning SkyMiles.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Delta showcased its commitment to innovation at CES 2025, featuring a performance by Lenny Kravitz and demonstrations of virtual pilot training experiences. CEO Ed Bastian emphasized the company's people-first approach to technology, stating, "New marvels like AI, the digital revolution and sustainable technology are giving us incredible tools to transform the travel experience."

Additional initiatives include collaboration with Airbus on developing more fuel-efficient aircraft, demonstrating Delta's commitment to sustainable aviation and enhanced passenger experience.
