Diddy Held Without Bail, Faces Prison as Federal Judge Denies Release
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been denied bail and will await trial at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) following federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The federal indictment accuses the hip-hop mogul of abusing, threatening, and coercing women and others over decades to fulfill sexual desires and protect his reputation. Combs pleaded not guilty to all charges following his September 16 arrest.
His attorney Marc Agninfilo expressed disappointment with the prosecution, stating that while Combs is "an imperfect person," he is not a criminal. Agninfilo emphasized Combs' cooperation with investigators and voluntary relocation to New York ahead of the charges.
The Metropolitan Detention Center, where Combs is being held, has a troubled history of poor conditions, including:
- Rat infestations
- Freezing temperatures during a 2019 power outage
- Worm and maggot-infested food
- Frequent inmate attacks
Combs will appeal the decision to deny bail at an upcoming Manhattan federal court hearing. The facility previously housed Ghislaine Maxwell during her sex-trafficking trial connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
