A new lawsuit claims Bad Boy Entertainment co-founder Kirk Burrowes was forcibly coerced into giving up his 25% stake in the company to Diddy's mother, Janice Smalls, in 1996.

According to the lawsuit, Diddy allegedly threatened Burrowes with a baseball bat in his New York City office, forcing him to sign over his shares. The incident reportedly involved Bad Boy attorney Kenneth Meiselas, with both men allegedly acting under Smalls' direction.

Burrowes, now 62 and homeless, claims he initially invested $100,000 in Bad Boy Entertainment's launch. He alleges that after the forced transfer, he was systematically blacklisted from the music industry, destroying his career and professional reputation.

Key points from the lawsuit:

  • Burrowes seeks reinstatement of his 25% ownership stake
  • He demands damages for financial losses and lost profits
  • The lawsuit requests a forensic audit of Bad Boy Entertainment's earnings
  • Burrowes was Justin Combs' godfather, highlighting his close relationship with the family

"Janice Smalls, we started this out as a family unit, and I believed in Sean's talent. I had a talent too, and I delivered. I looked out for your family, and you let them, as well as yourself, destroy mine," Burrowes stated through his attorney, Tyrone Blackburn.

The lawsuit comes as Diddy remains in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting trial on federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering.
