Diplo Revenge Porn Lawsuit Dropped After Judge Orders Accuser to Reveal Identity
A revenge porn lawsuit against DJ Diplo has been voluntarily dismissed after the court ruled that the anonymous accuser must reveal their identity to proceed with the case.
The Jane Doe plaintiff, who filed the lawsuit containing revenge porn accusations against Diplo, withdrew the case "in its entirety" through their legal counsel. While no specific reason was provided for the dismissal, it follows a recent court ruling requiring the accuser to disclose their identity to continue the legal proceedings.

Prior to the dismissal, the accuser had sought to maintain anonymity, citing concerns about potential retaliation and privacy violations. The allegations, which dated back to 2016, were consistently denied by Diplo. The accuser had also filed a report with the NYPD, though the status of any related investigation remains unclear.
This dismissal represents another legal victory for the 46-year-old DJ, who recently settled a separate sexual assault case with Shelly Auguste. That case, which included counterclaimsof stalking from Diplo, was resolved just before its scheduled January trial date. Diplo had acknowledged a consensual sexual encounter with Auguste while denying all assault allegations.
The DJ has faced other legal challenges, including a briefly-filed sexual assault lawsuit from an alleged friend of Auguste. That case was quickly withdrawn, with the plaintiff expressing "regret" after Diplo reportedly found video evidence of the encounter in question.
Currently, Diplo hasn't publicly commented on the latest dismissal but has recently been involved in charitable work, helping raise over $160,000 for the Los Angeles Fire Department, and is scheduled to perform at several pre-Super Bowl events in New Orleans.
