Drake Reveals Jeff Bezos Rejected His 'God's Plan' TV Show Proposal
Drake recently revealed that Amazon's Jeff Bezos rejected his pitch for a TV series based on his "God's Plan" music video concept. The proposed show would have featured Drake traveling worldwide for charitable giving, similar to his 2018 music video where he gave away nearly $1 million in Miami.

During a holiday stream with Kick streamer Adin Ross, Drake explained his vision: "I want to do God's Plan the TV show, ten episodes a year... I want to travel across the world... there's a lot of billionaires out there, people who have a lot of money, who don't have a chance to put a face to their charitable donations."
Despite the rejection, Drake demonstrated his commitment to charitable giving through his recent "Drizzmas Giveaway" stream, where he distributed significant prizes including:
- $100,000 for a Toronto-based artist
- A dream vacation for a couple
- Australian concert trip for two
- $250,000 each for two individuals
- A luxury car
- One year of rent for two winners
- Vehicles for three families
While Drake's estimated net worth of $250 million suggests he could potentially fund such a show independently, the artist expressed enthusiasm about the giving format, stating, "We are blessing so many people. It's the greatest feeling in the world."
