Google has launched an enhanced version of MusicFX DJ, collaborating with Grammy winner Jacob Collier to create an intuitive AI-powered music generation tool. The system allows users to create continuous music streams by combining prompts for instruments, genres, and emotions.

The tool's key features include:

• Multiple prompt combinations with adjustable influence levels
• Controls for tempo, mood, and specific sound elements
• 60-second playback sharing capability
• Ability to remix and build upon other users' creations

Jacob Collier's involvement focused on optimizing the user experience and creative workflow, resulting in a more accessible interface compared to the May 2024 version. The collaboration emphasizes experimentation and artistic innovation, making music creation possible for users regardless of their musical expertise.

Alongside this update, Google has also enhanced its Music AI Sandbox and YouTube's Dream Track, providing YouTube Shorts creators with improved tools for generating high-quality instrumental tracks.
