Rising pop star Chappell Roan has parted ways with her management team at State Of The Art, led by Nick Bobetsky, amidst significant career momentum.
The split comes as Roan celebrates multiple 2025 Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year for "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess," Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Good Luck, Babe!" and Best New Artist. Former Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard confirmed the news on the Every Single Album podcast, noting that top industry managers are actively pursuing representation of the artist.
The 26-year-old artist's recent achievements include a memorable Saturday Night Live debut, where she premiered "The Giver," a new country-pop track. She also introduced another unreleased song, "Subway," during her Governors Ball performance.
Amid her rising success, Roan has been vocal about challenging fan interactions, addressing the boundaries between artists and admirers. "I don't agree with the notion that I owe a mutual exchange of energy, time, or attention to people I do not know, do not trust, or who creep me out — just because they're expressing admiration," she stated, emphasizing the importance of maintaining professional boundaries and respect in artist-fan relationships.
