A recently surfaced body camera footage reveals Ice-T's tense encounter with New Jersey police during a May traffic stop for driving his Porsche 911 without a front license plate.

The Law & Order actor was initially stopped for the missing front plate, but officers discovered his vehicle's license and registration had expired in 2021. When questioned, Ice-T explained he was en route to the Department of Motor Vehicles to resolve the issue, stating he had attempted to handle it the previous day but encountered problems.

The situation escalated when officers threatened to tow the vehicle. Ice-T, who explained the car had been parked since its expiration and was part of his seven-vehicle fleet requiring registration updates, became visibly agitated. He refused to surrender his keys, stating, "If I'm not under arrest, I'm getting out of the car," and emphasized his proximity to the DMV.

The confrontation was eventually defused when a senior officer arrived at the scene. Ice-T received four citations, including one for driving with a suspended license.
