Instagram has rolled out significant updates to its direct messaging (DMs) system, introducing music sharing, translation features, and enhanced organizational tools.

Music Sharing in DMs Users can now share 30-second song previews directly in messages. The shared music appears as a spinning vinyl display with album artwork, accessible through the sticker tray by tapping 'Music' and searching the Instagram audio library.

Message Translation Breaking language barriers, users can now translate messages by holding down on the text and selecting 'Translate.' The translated version appears below the original message, enabling seamless international communication.

Message Scheduling Schedule messages for future delivery by:

• Type your message
• Hold down the send button
• Select date and time
• Tap 'Send' to confirm

Message Pinning

• Pin up to three important messages at the top of chats
• Hold down on a message and tap 'Pin'
• Messages remain visible at the top until unpinned
• Unpin by tapping the pinned message and selecting 'Unpin'

Group Chat QR Codes

• Each group chat now has a unique QR code
• Share the code for instant group access
• Admins can refresh the code to control access
• Eliminates the need to add members individually

These updates streamline communication for artists, creators, and regular users while making group management more efficient.
