J. Cole's Dreamville Festival announced its final edition will take place in April 2025, joining the growing list of music festival changes in 2024. The two-day event is scheduled for April 5th and 6th in Raleigh, with the full lineup expected to be announced before the end of 2024.

The 2024 festival drew over 100,000 attendees and generated a reported $145 million impact on the local economy. Despite this success, organizers confirmed 2025 will mark the end of the festival's run.

In their announcement, Dreamville organizers emphasized the festival's original mission: "From the very beginning, the idea behind the fest was creating a place where our fans, the Dreamville community, could spend time together, a place where they could see themselves reflected, a place to share in experiences."

This cancellation adds to the growing list of over 170 music festivals that have been canceled, postponed, or discontinued in 2024. The timing is particularly notable as Dreamville's final edition will occur just days before Coachella 2025's first weekend.

The festival industry has shown signs of strain, with even major events like Coachella experiencing slower ticket sales. The 2024 edition didn't sell out, and the 2025 event's second-weekend passes remain available despite a strong lineup.

General admission presale passes for Dreamville's final edition are currently available at $299.99.
