Working with the Ally Coalition, the initiative will include:
- A network of funded engineers to provide training
- Full maintenance and engineering support
- Time slot distribution managed by the centers
- Future expansion into additional cities
Antonoff emphasizes the unique value of professional studio experiences, highlighting:
- The importance of working with analog gear
- Creating unreproducible sounds
- The transformative impact of time-limited creative spaces
- The special environment that studios provide
"I dream of the studio being a place that anyone can access, not just those with the money to do so," Antonoff states. "It should be a place that all people can experience and find out if they are meant to be in there."
The project specifically targets individuals who cannot afford commercial studio time and welcomes support from those with resources to help launch the initiative. Interested parties can reach out via email to contribute to the program's development.
