Live Nation to Cancel 50,000 Resold Oasis Tickets in Major UK Crackdown
Live Nation and SJM have announced plans to invalidate over 50,000 Oasis UK concert tickets that were illegally resold on secondary ticketing platforms. This affects approximately 4% of the total 1.4 million tickets originally released for the Oasis Live '25 reunion tour.

Only tickets purchased through official channels (Ticketmaster) or its authorized resale partner Twickets will remain valid. Tickets found on unauthorized secondary platforms will be canceled in the coming days, potentially leaving many fans who purchased from these sites unable to attend the shows.
Despite warnings from Live Nation, secondary ticketing website Viagogo maintains it will continue offering ticket resales, claiming they serve a legitimate consumer need. The platform states it holds about 2% of available Oasis tickets.
The tour initially faced criticism for using dynamic pricing in the UK, which saw ticket prices surge from £150 to £350. In response to backlash, Oasis has already announced that US tour dates will not use dynamic pricing, acknowledging it created an "unacceptable experience" for UK fans.
Key Points:
- 10 million people attempted to purchase tickets during the initial sale
- Affected tickets appeared on secondary sites selling for thousands above face value
- Live Nation urges fans to avoid unauthorized ticket websites
- Some unauthorized tickets may be fraudulent or subject to cancellation
