Miami Beach Rescinds Diddy's Key to City Following Vice Mayor's Condemnation
Miami Beach officials have officially revoked Sean "Diddy" Combs' key to the city, which was originally awarded to him in 2015. The decision comes following multiple serious allegations against the music mogul.

Miami Beach Vice Mayor Alex Fernandez expressed strong disapproval of Combs, describing the allegations as "disgusting," "dirty," and "inhumane." The city commission, led by Mayor Steven Weiner, unanimously voted for the revocation on October 30.
This action follows similar moves by other cities, including New York, where Mayor Eric Adams also rescinded Combs' key to the city after surveillance footage emerged showing Combs allegedly assaulting ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura in 2016.
Currently, the 54-year-old Combs is being held in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting his May 2025 trial. He faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, to which he has pleaded not guilty. He has been denied bail twice since his arrest and indictment.
The city has also canceled "Diddy Day," which was previously celebrated on October 13.
