The 31-year-old singer received a "conditional guilty" plea through judicial diversion, meaning his charges could be dismissed and expunged upon successful completion of probation. In addition to the education center stint and probation, Wallen must pay a $350 fine plus court fees.
The incident occurred on April 7, when police officers witnessed a chair falling from the six-story bar's rooftop. Wallen was subsequently arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
Through his attorney Worrick Robinson IV, Wallen has demonstrated full cooperation with authorities and expressed remorse for his actions. The singer himself addressed the incident on social media, stating, "I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility. I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe."
Despite this legal trouble, Wallen's career continues to thrive, as evidenced by his recent win as Entertainer of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards, though he was not present to accept the award.
