
Paul Simon Returns to Touring With Innovative Solution to Combat Hearing Loss: 'A Quiet Celebration' US Tour Announced
Paul Simon, despite experiencing hearing loss in his left ear, has announced a nationwide US tour called 'A Quiet Celebration.' The tour will feature intimate performances in acoustically optimized venues, making it possible for him to return to live music.

Working with the Stanford Initiative to Cure Hearing Loss and his production team, Simon has redesigned his stage setup to accommodate his condition. The tour will showcase his 2023 album 'Seven Psalms' alongside new arrangements of his classic hits.
His touring band includes:

- Jamey Haddad (percussion)
- Gyan Riley (guitar)
- Mick Rossi (piano, keys)
- Andy Snitzer (saxophone)
- Nancy Stagnita (flute)
- Mark Stewart (guitar)

The tour begins April 4 in New Orleans and concludes August 3 in Seattle, with performances across major cities including:

- Nashville (May 11, 13-14)
- Chicago (May 21, 23-24)
- New York (June 16, 18, 20-21, 23)

- Seattle (July 31, August 2-3)
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 21, at 10 AM local time in respective venues.
