
Reservoir Media Lands Publishing Deal with k.d. lang for Future Works and Key Catalog Rights
Reservoir Media (NASDAQ: RSVR) has secured a significant publishing partnership with acclaimed singer-songwriter k.d. lang, encompassing her future works and partial catalog rights.

The deal includes portions of lang's extensive catalog, featuring 12 solo studio albums from 1988's Shadowland through 2008's Watershed, along with various collaborative projects and singles. Her hit song "Constant Craving" (1992) has amassed over 50 million Spotify streams.
The eight-time Juno winner expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, citing a strong connection with Reservoir's founder and CEO, Golnar Khosrowshahi. "Golnar is a force of nature and understands me as an artist. I am deeply inspired and have utmost confidence in this creative partnership," lang stated.
Khosrowshahi emphasized their shared Canadian heritage and commitment to expanding lang's audience reach. The company plans to focus on introducing her music to new listeners while supporting her future creative endeavors.
This agreement follows Reservoir's recent publishing deals with Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records. While specific terms remain undisclosed, the company's stock has shown positive movement, rising over 50% since mid-October 2023.
