Kingston (legal name Kisean Paul Anderson) and his mother, Janice Turner, were arrested following a SWAT team raid on his South Florida mansion. The arrest warrant, dated May 20, details allegations of defrauding a jeweler and luxury car dealership. The jewelry alone is valued at approximately $480,000.
The charges against Kingston include:
- Multiple counts of identity fraud
- Issuing faulty checks
- Grand theft
- Probation violation related to trafficking stolen property
Kingston is currently held without bail in San Bernardino county jail, awaiting an extradition hearing to return to Florida. His mother faces eight charges but has posted bail.
His attorney, Robert Rosenblatt, stated to NBC News: "We want him back ASAP so we can show this is merely a civil case and not criminal. We look forward to challenging this case in court."
