Meta Quest is launching an immersive VR concert experience featuring Shawn Mendes at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, offering viewers an unprecedented front-row perspective of the performance.

The 83-minute concert, produced in collaboration with Dorsey Pictures, 7 Cinematics, and Light Sail VR, will premiere on January 24 at 5 pm PT in Meta Horizon Music Valley. The performance features hit songs including "Stitches," "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back," "In My Blood," and "Why Why Why."

Shot in stunning 180-degree video, the concert takes full advantage of Red Rocks' natural acoustics and scenic beauty. The experience is available to Meta Quest 3S, Quest 3, Quest 2, and Quest Pro users, who can RSVP for the event now.

"Red Rocks was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life," shares Mendes. "That night was so special to me, and I'm so happy to be able to bring it to those who couldn't be there in person."

Sarah Malkin, Director of Metaverse Entertainment Content at Meta, emphasizes the production's goal of capturing the intimate connection between Mendes and his fans. The concert will be available for replay in Meta Horizon Music Valley for a limited time, offering fans worldwide the chance to experience this unique performance.
