
Spotify Rolls Out Mobile Creator for Custom Playlist Covers
Spotify has launched a new mobile feature allowing both Free and Premium users to create custom playlist cover art. The feature, currently in beta across 65 English markets, enables users to personalize their playlists with unique images, colors, text effects, and graphic elements.

How to Create Custom Playlist Cover Art:
- Open Spotify app on iOS or Android
- Select or create a playlist
- Tap three-dot menu and select 'Create Cover Art'
- Upload a photo or choose from custom options
- Add text styles, colors, and effects
- Customize background colors and gradients
- Add exclusive artist stickers
Important Notes:
- Only one custom cover art can be saved per playlist
- New covers override previous ones
- To have multiple covers, create playlist copies
- Available on latest versions of iOS and Android
Spotify has partnered with notable artists including Clairo, Jamie xx, and Arlo Parks, along with album artwork experts like Imogene Strauss, Adrian Hernandez, and Cey Adams to enhance the feature's creative possibilities.
