The decision comes after completing their European and UK tour supporting their latest album, Ohio Players. The band confirmed that both Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney are "alive and well," and the change aims to provide a more intimate experience similar to their successful European shows at venues like Brixton Academy and the Zenith in Paris.
All ticket holders will receive full refunds and get priority access when new dates are announced. The original tour was set to run from September through November, with ticket prices ranging from $100 to $300.
The venue downsizing coincides with the band's recent commercial performance. Ohio Players debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard 200, marking their lowest chart position in nearly 20 years, compared to their 2022 album Dropout Boogie which reached No. 8.
The band will maintain their scheduled appearance at the NASCAR Chicago Street Race on July 6 while working on announcing new tour dates and venues.
