The artist, Abel Tesfaye, has postponed his sixth studio album "Hurry Up Tomorrow" to January 31, one week later than originally planned. The album holds special significance as it will be his final project under The Weeknd persona, though he plans to continue making music under a different name.

"This city has always been a profound source of inspiration for me, and my thoughts are with everyone impacted during this difficult time," Tesfaye stated on social media. He emphasized his commitment to supporting the affected communities during their recovery.

The wildfires have claimed over 20 lives and prompted numerous entertainment events to be postponed or cancelled, including various Grammy Awards-related events. However, the main Grammy ceremony remains scheduled for February 2.
