Ty Dolla $ign expressed frustration over Apple Music's apparent lack of promotion for 'Vultures 1', his collaborative album with Kanye West. Despite topping the Billboard 200 chart for two consecutive weeks, the album was notably absent from Apple Music's New Music and Best New Songs sections.

The album's release has been marred by multiple controversies. Initially, distribution issues delayed its launch. When it finally appeared on Apple Music, it was temporarily removed due to unauthorized distribution through Fuga's platform.

Legal challenges continue to plague the album. The Donna Summer estate filed a copyright infringement lawsuit over unauthorized sampling in "Good (Don't Die)." Additionally, both Nicki Minaj and Ozzy Osbourne denied permission for their work to be sampled on the album, with Osbourne specifically objecting to an "Iron Man" sample used during a listening party.

The controversy extends beyond music rights issues. In 2022, Kanye West faced significant backlash for antisemitic comments, resulting in the termination of his Adidas partnership and revelations about workplace harassment.

Currently, 'Vultures 1' only appears on Apple Music's Top Songs chart, despite its commercial success on Billboard.
