Nkoda has partnered with Universal Music Publishing, Concord, and Wise Music Group to launch Kordl, a streamlined platform for music rentals and licensing. The platform aims to modernize the traditional rental process by creating a unified gateway to prestigious music catalogs.
Kordl consolidates multiple rental management aspects into a single platform, including:

The B2B platform offers customization options for publishers and will expand to include recorded music licensing and sync rights in the future. This initiative represents a significant shift from existing platforms like Zinfonia, which currently handles rentals for several major publishers.
Lorenzo Brewer, Nkoda's co-founder and CEO, emphasizes the platform's unique position: "We combine our knowledge of rental catalogues and understanding of internal business processes with deep technical expertise to create an intuitive, robust, and future-proofed software platform."
The launch coincides with other strategic moves in the industry:
- Universal Music operates Stage+, a classical streaming service
- Wise Music recently divested its education division
- Nkoda has developed ARIA-i, an AI-powered music education tool
