West One Music Group has acquired Q-Factory Music and Sound Design, a leading trailer music catalog, through a global management agreement. Q-Factory will remain under MEP Capital ownership while West One handles worldwide administration.
Q-Factory's impressive catalog includes:
- 75+ specialized albums
- 3,500+ instrumental tracks
- Industry-standard sound design for movie trailers
- 25 years of production expertise
Founded by Robert Etoll, Q-Factory has become the gold standard for movie trailer soundtracks, serving major film studios and TV networks. Etoll, who will join West One's creative team in Los Angeles, has pioneered sound design and epic hybrid music for licensing.
West One Music, established in 2002, now operates in 15 countries with 16 distinct labels. This partnership strengthens their position in the production music industry while maintaining Q-Factory's independent, music-first approach.
"I am beyond thrilled to be joining forces with a global powerhouse like West One Music," said Etoll. "This move enhances the footprint of the Q-Factory catalog and continues the truly independent, music-first approach I've always lived by."
Edwin Cox, West One Music global CEO, praised the partnership: "The music and sound design of Q-Factory is iconic and the production values are unsurpassed. Robert is a one-of-a-kind music creative and a true legend in the trailer production community."
