Young Musicians Unite Gala Raises $1.6M to Bring Music Education to Miami-Dade Students in 2025
Young Musicians Unite (YMU) set a new fundraising record at their 2025 gala, securing $1.6 million to provide free music education for Miami-Dade students. The disco-themed event at Mana Wynwood drew over 700 attendees, including notable figures from entertainment, politics, and the music industry.

The funds will support music programs for more than 12,000 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This achievement builds on YMU's previous fiscal year success, which saw $2.15 million in total support through July 31st, 2023.

Founded in 2013, Young Musicians Unite has:

- Partnered with 60+ schools
- Become Florida's largest provider of free music education in Title I Schools
- Developed programs in production, jazz ensembles, and drumlines
