Young Thug and AEG Presents End Years-Long Multimillion-Dollar Contract Dispute
Young Thug and AEG Presents have officially settled their multimillion-dollar legal dispute after nearly five years of litigation. The settlement was recently approved by the presiding judge, dismissing the case without prejudice.
The dispute originated from Young Thug's alleged breach of multiple performance agreements with AEG Presents. The case faced significant delays due to the artist's involvement in gang-related charges, which resulted in 15 years' probation and his required relocation from Georgia.

Key points of the lawsuit:
- AEG Presents sought recovery of a $5.2 million advance paid to Young Thug
- The dispute involved Young Thug's music IP, which was allegedly used as collateral
- The IP was reportedly sold to a third party for $16 million
- AEG Presents issued subpoenas to the IP's alleged new owners
While specific settlement terms remain confidential, the court will maintain jurisdiction over the case for one year to enforce the agreement terms.
Moving forward, Young Thug is set to perform at Les Ardentes festival on July 5th, marking his first announced performance since his arrest. As part of his plea deal, he must also perform four charity concerts annually.
