"Generative AI will need attribution, and we're the first to master it and provide a secure platform that implements it along with industry-accepted revenue sharing," explains Matt Adell, Musical AI COO and former Beatport head.
The company has positioned itself as a crucial intermediary between rights holders and AI companies, offering both technical solutions and marketplace functionality. CEO Sean Power emphasizes the platform's unique value proposition: "If we want AI training to be sustainable and ethical, we need attribution. Musical AI is the only company offering it in the audio space."
The total funding raised by Musical AI now stands at $2.1 million CAD (approximately $1.5 million USD), with plans for additional expansion through an upcoming seed round.
