AllTrack Makes History as First US Performance Rights Organization to Launch Mechanical Rights Division
AllTrack, America's newest performing rights organization (PRO), has launched a mechanical rights division, becoming the first US PRO to offer integrated performance and mechanical rights collection services through a single platform.

The new division allows AllTrack to collect all forms of worldwide mechanical royalties, including:
- Streaming royalties
- Digital downloads
- Physical product reproduction (CDs, vinyl)
- Lyrics usage
- Other copyright-protected uses
This development addresses a significant gap in the market, as independent US creators previously needed to register with multiple platforms and societies to collect their global mechanical royalties. Many creators either missed out on certain mechanical royalties or only registered with the MLC, which collects just a portion of available mechanical royalties.
Hayden Bower, AllTrack's founder and CEO, noted that mechanical rights typically represent a substantial portion of a music creator's published income. This expansion follows AllTrack's recent acceptance into CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers) and their groundbreaking integration with TIDAL.
The launch positions AllTrack as a comprehensive rights management solution, offering both performance and mechanical rights collection through a unified platform, streamlining the royalty collection process for independent music creators and publishers.
