British singer-songwriter Raye will debut the series on November 22nd with a performance recorded at London's Air Studios, accompanied by a 20-piece band. The set will feature songs including "Genesis" and "Escapism," recorded in spatial audio.
The series follows Apple's recent release of The Weeknd's "Open Hearts" immersive experience for Vision Pro. Both experiences are available through Apple Store demos of the $3,499 headset.
To expand reach beyond Vision Pro's estimated 370,000 users, Apple Music will stream Concert for One performances with spatial audio support. While not a return to full streaming exclusives, this represents Apple's growing investment in original content experiences.
Key Features of Concert for One:
- Intimate performances filmed specifically for Vision Pro
- Spatial audio integration
- Available through Apple Store demos
- Streaming access via Apple Music
- High-quality production at premium venues
Additional artists for the Concert for One series will be announced throughout 2024, with more performances expected to coincide with major events like the Apple Music-sponsored Halftime Show.
