Apple Music and Amazon Music are launching their holiday season offerings early this year, with distinct approaches to Christmas music content.

Apple Music's 2024 Carols Covered Collection features fresh interpretations of holiday classics by contemporary artists, all available in spatial audio. The collection includes performances from 16 artists including Alice Merton, Lizzy McAlpine, and Tones and I.

Amazon Music has partnered with Mariah Carey to celebrate the 30th anniversary of "All I Want For Christmas Is You," offering exclusive holiday decor and tour merchandise. The partnership coincides with Carey's Christmas Time tour, which begins November 6 in Highland, CA.

Both streaming services offer unique holiday music experiences: Apple Music focuses on fresh interpretations and classical renditions, while Amazon Music capitalizes on Mariah Carey's enduring Christmas popularity.
