Coldplay Breaks Marvel Stadium Record with 227,000 Fans in Melbourne
Coldplay has set a new attendance record at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium, drawing 227,000 people during their 'Music of the Spheres' world tour stops, surpassing the previous record held by Adele.

Chris Martin performs at Marvel Stadium
During Sunday's performance, frontman Chris Martin experienced an unexpected incident when he fell through a trapdoor while addressing the 50,000-strong crowd. Martin handled the situation with humor, acknowledging it wasn't planned and joking that it would "probably be a YouTube moment." He confirmed he wasn't injured from the fall.
The incident follows a similar occurrence involving Olivia Rodrigo, who also fell through a stage opening while performing in Melbourne during her GUTS tour. Both artists recovered quickly and continued their performances without serious issues.
