
Concord Acquires Hitmaker Johnny McDaid's Publishing Catalog, Including Ed Sheeran Smashes
Concord has acquired the song catalog of Johnny McDaid, a former Snow Patrol member, renowned songwriter, musician, and producer. The deal includes both his existing works and future compositions through a worldwide publishing agreement.
McDaid's impressive catalog features collaborations with numerous high-profile artists, including:

- Lewis Capaldi
- Keith Urban
- Shawn Mendes
- Alicia Keys

Originally from Derry, Northern Ireland, McDaid began his musical journey busking in London, where he honed his songwriting skills through direct audience feedback. After leading the band Vega4 for a decade, he was signed to Snow Patrol's Polar Patrol Publishing before officially joining the band in 2011.
Throughout his career, McDaid has demonstrated versatility by collaborating with diverse artists across genres, from pop stars like Robbie Williams and BTS to rock bands like Thirty Seconds to Mars and Biffy Clyro.
