Rimas Entertainment, the world's largest independent label, has acquired a significant stake in Dale Play Records, marking a major expansion in the Latin music market. This strategic partnership combines two powerhouses in Spanish-language music while maintaining their existing relationship with Sony Music Entertainment.

Federico Lauria will continue as CEO of Dale Play Records, with the deal supported by key industry figures including Rob Stringer (Sony Music Group Chairman), Afo Verde, and teams from The Orchard.

The partnership unites impressive rosters from both labels:

  • Rimas Entertainment: Arcángel, Bad Bunny, Cris MJ, Eladio Carrión, Mora, and Quevedo
  • Dale Play Records: Bizarrap, Duki, Nicki Nicole, and Rels B

The acquisition expands Rimas Entertainment's global presence, adding Dale Play's operations in Argentina, Mexico, Spain, and Uruguay to its existing offices in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Spain, and the United States.

Noah Assad, Rimas Entertainment CEO, emphasized their commitment to authentic artist development, while Federico Lauria highlighted their shared vision for elevating Latin music globally.

Jonathan "Jomy" Miranda, Rimas Entertainment President, noted that this alliance strengthens their ability to discover and develop new talent worldwide.
