Eagles Make $2.5 Million Donation to LA Wildfires Relief Fund Ahead of FireAid Benefit Concert
The Eagles have donated $2.5 million to support Los Angeles wildfire recovery efforts through the upcoming FireAid Benefit Concert. The donation comes as the region grapples with devastating fires that have claimed 24 lives and destroyed over 12,000 buildings since January 7.
The benefit concert is scheduled for January 30 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, with organizers Live Nation, AEG Presents, and the Irving Azoff family hoping to fill the 18,000-seat venue. While the lineup remains unconfirmed, the Eagles' involvement seems possible given their current schedule and connection to Azoff, their long-time manager.

The band's Las Vegas residency at the Sphere, running through April 12, includes shows on January 17, 18, 24, and 25, leaving January 30 open for a potential FireAid performance. Their next Sphere show isn't until February 14, making their participation in the benefit concert feasible.
The wildfires have significantly impacted the music industry, with Universal Music Group reporting over 50 employees displaced. The FireAid concert aims to provide crucial support for affected families and individuals, joining various relief efforts already underway in the Los Angeles area.
