The 'Back to the Beginning' show features an extraordinary roster including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Anthrax, and Mastodon. A special supergroup will perform to honor Ozzy's contributions to metal music.

Notable supergroup members include:

  • Slash and Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses)
  • Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins)
  • Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine)
  • Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
  • Wolfgang Van Halen (Van Halen)
  • Jonathan Davis (Korn)
  • Sammy Hagar
  • David Draiman (Disturbed)

This marks the first performance of Black Sabbath's original lineup since 2005. While Ozzy Osbourne won't perform a full set due to health concerns, his wife Sharon confirmed this will be his "full stop" moment, giving him a chance to properly say goodbye to fans.

The event will benefit several charitable causes:

  • Cure Parkinson's
  • Birmingham Children's Hospital
  • Acorn Children's Hospice

The overwhelming demand for tickets saw over 500,000 people in the queue for this historic farewell show.
