Country star Zach Bryan has made history by selling over 112,000 tickets in just two-and-a-half hours for his upcoming concert at Michigan Stadium. The unprecedented sale positions Bryan to potentially break the all-time US record for a single-act ticketed concert, currently held by George Strait.

The September 27 performance will mark the first-ever concert at Michigan Stadium, nicknamed "The Big House," which stands as the largest stadium in the United States and third-largest globally. The venue will accommodate 107,000 fans in the main bowl, with an additional 5,500 seats configured on the field.

Ticket prices ranged from $55 to over $1,000, with John Mayer and other special guests slated to join Bryan for this historic performance. The University of Michigan's Athletic Director, Warde Manuel, expressed excitement about this milestone event, noting that years of preparation went into making the stadium concert-ready.

The current US concert attendance record was set by George Strait, who drew 110,905 fans at Texas A&M University's Kyle Field last summer. This record surpassed the previous mark of 107,019, held by the Grateful Dead from their 1977 New Jersey raceway performance.

Bryan shared his gratitude on Instagram, stating, "You guys just sold out the biggest show in American history. I owe you my life, my humility, and every ounce of effort I have. I love y'all more than any song."
