Kenny Chesney will make history as the first country artist to perform at Las Vegas' Sphere, announcing a 12-show residency beginning Memorial Day weekend 2025.

"When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in," Chesney shared with People. The state-of-the-art venue's 4D technology and advanced sound systems promise an immersive experience for fans, whom Chesney affectionately calls "No Shoes Nation."

The announcement follows recent successful residencies by U2, Dead & Company, Phish, and the Eagles at the 18,600-seat venue, which opened in September 2023.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 31, at 10 AM PT through Chesney's website. VIP packages are available now for early access.

"Over the years, they have shown me through their own response to these songs how passionate they are about what they mean," Chesney said about his fans. "When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more."
