Live Nation, AEG, and the Azoff Company are organizing 'FireAid,' a benefit concert at the Intuit Dome in response to devastating Los Angeles wildfires. The concert, scheduled for Thursday, January 30, aims to support affected communities through rebuilding efforts and fire prevention initiatives.

The LA wildfires have claimed 24 lives, with 8 deaths from the Palisades Fire and 16 from the Eaton Fire. The fires have consumed over 62 square miles, with the Palisades Fire at 11% containment and the Eaton Fire at 27% containment as of Sunday night.

The fires have destroyed more than 12,000 structures, with AccuWeather estimating damages between $135-150 billion. A dedicated 501(c)(3) organization will manage concert proceeds, focusing on:

  • Rebuilding infrastructure
  • Supporting displaced families
  • Advancing fire prevention technologies
  • Improving emergency preparedness

California Governor Gavin Newsom has issued an executive order to expedite rebuilding efforts by suspending certain environmental regulations and freezing property tax assessments. Over 24,000 people have registered for federal assistance following President Biden's major disaster declaration.

The situation remains critical as Santa Ana winds are forecast to intensify, with sustained winds of 50 mph expected through Tuesday. Performer lineup and ticket information will be announced in the coming days.
