Madonna & Live Nation Face Lawsuit Over 2-Hour Concert Delays
Two Madonna fans have filed a lawsuit against the singer and Live Nation over a December 13 concert at Brooklyn's Barclays Center that started more than two hours late. Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden purchased tickets for an 8:30 PM show but claim Madonna didn't take the stage until after 10:45 PM.

The lawsuit alleges "unconscionable, unfair, and/or deceptive trade practices," claiming the late start caused significant inconvenience with transportation and next-day responsibilities. The plaintiffs argue that Madonna and Live Nation knew the show wouldn't start on time, citing similar delays at her December 14 and 16 performances at the same venue.
This isn't Madonna's first legal battle over late starts. During her 2019 Madame X tour, she faced multiple lawsuits:
- Nate Hollander sued in Florida over a rescheduled concert time (later voluntarily dismissed)
- Andrew Panos and Antonio Velotta filed a similar lawsuit in New York, reaching an undisclosed settlement in July 2020
The current lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for breach of contract, highlighting a pattern of late starts at Madonna's concerts in other cities, including Washington, DC, and Boston.
