The contracts offer monthly payments ranging from $2,500 to $50,000, targeting creators with over one million TikTok followers. The payment structure is divided into five tiers:
- Tier 1: $50,000 per month
- Tier 2: $25,000 per month
- Tier 3: $15,000 per month
- Tier 4: $5,000 per month
- Tier 5: $2,500 per month
Key contract requirements include:
- Posting 10 new, never-before-seen Reels monthly
- 3-month content exclusivity to Instagram
- Videos must be 15 seconds to 3 minutes long
- 25% more content on Reels than other platforms
- Converting two Reels monthly into Instagram Stories
- Bi-monthly promotion of Instagram Reels on primary platforms
Some creators have received offers as high as $300,000 for six months of content. However, not all influencers are enthusiastic about the deals, with some calling them "cheugy" and criticizing the strict posting requirements.
Meta has not officially commented on these payment arrangements. Meanwhile, TikTok faces ongoing challenges in the US market, including potential bans and ownership disputes.
