Post Malone has partnered with Mondelēz International to release a limited-edition OREO cookie flavor, featuring an innovative swirled creme that combines salted caramel and shortbread flavors—marking the first time OREO has created a twisted creme combination.

The special edition cookies, released on February 3 to coincide with the Super Bowl, feature nine unique embossments inspired by Post Malone's world and personally selected by the artist. Each pack includes a handwritten signed note from Post Malone and showcases a special OREO x Posty vinyl design highlighting his discography.

"Can't believe they let me make my own Oreo cookie. So happy everyone gets to try the taste twist—hope you love it as much as I do, 'cause I think it's the best Oreo ever!" Post Malone expressed about the collaboration.

However, the partnership has drawn criticism from PETA due to Mondelēz International's animal testing practices. PETA claims the company conducts nutritional testing on mice, including controversial experiments involving force-feeding and dissection. While Mondelēz International implemented a partial ban on animal testing in 2018, they maintain testing for "fundamental knowledge in nutritional science."

PETA's campaign aims to raise awareness about food companies' animal testing practices, encouraging consumers to support brands that avoid animal testing altogether. The organization emphasizes that animal testing is not only cruel but also unreliable, as animals' bodies react differently from humans, and modern research alternatives are readily available.
