Quality Control Music and The Sound Bank have joined forces to launch 'The Quality Check Competition,' a nationwide search for the UK's next global music superstar. The competition, spearheaded by music industry veteran Melody Campbell and Quality Control's marketing manager Mr. Too Official, is accepting entries until the end of July for a £10 fee.

The competition brings together The Sound Bank, a UK creative hub, and Quality Control Music, the US label behind successful artists like Migos, Lil Baby, and City Girls. This collaboration stems from a 20-year friendship between Campbell and Mr. Too Official, who share a vision for helping British artists achieve international success.

Campbell, known for establishing the UK's first pay-as-you-go recording studio in 2004, designed this competition to focus purely on talent development, unlike traditional music reality shows. Talent scouts across major UK cities, including London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Wales, and Margate, will help select the top fifteen acts.

The finals will take place at The Sound Bank's annual music seminar in Waterloo on September 14-15. Quality Control executives will judge the performances, which will be livestreamed by Mimi the Music Blogger.

The winner's prize package includes:

  • Exclusive management deal
  • Studio session at The Sound Bank with a top London producer
  • Mentoring from Mr. Too Official
  • All-expenses-paid promotional trip to Atlanta
  • Opportunity to record with Quality Control
