Shopify has removed Yeezy.com from its platform after the website attempted to sell t-shirts featuring Nazi symbolism. The ecommerce site was available Sunday night and Monday before being taken down.

Shopify confirmed the removal, stating: "All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify."

The controversial merchandise included a t-shirt featuring a black 45-degree tilted swastika, identical to the Nazi party symbol. The product was labeled 'HH-01', an apparent reference to 'Heil Hitler.'

This incident follows Kanye West's recent social media activity, where he made several antisemitic statements and praised Hitler. The Anti-Defamation League condemned these actions, noting that 30 antisemitic incidents nationwide were previously linked to West's 2022 antisemitic statements.

Prior to any potential platform action, West deactivated his X/Twitter account after posting additional controversial statements about slavery, race, and personal relationships. The incident has drawn widespread criticism from celebrities and organizations, including actor David Schwimmer and the Anti-Defamation League, who called for stricter platform moderation.

Shopify's terms of service explicitly state that the company reserves the right to "restrict products or activities we deem unsafe, inappropriate, or offensive," though they did not specify which exact rules were violated in this case.
